We finally got to leave La Paz and head up to Loreto. Last year Loreto proved to be my favorite place to cruise. It was also the most productive. I was pretty sure it would change our luck with road cruising. Loreto was also my favorite town that we visited, so I was also looking forward to just being there.

Well, long story short, our luck didn't change at all. We cruised three plus hours on one of the best roads in all of southern Baja for one this year's baby Baja California Rattlesnake (Crotalus enyo).

I didn't even bother to take out my camera, just grabbing a cell phone shot. It also came at the very tail end of the night, meaning we cruised pretty much the entire time without seeing anything. It was getting difficult to keep up the road cruising. It is really brutal to cruise that long without seeing anything at all.
