Not a lot to report, kind of a last minute stop off. I texted Don to see if he wanted a break from whatever he was doing and we went out to a local spot to see what was up. There were a lot of Common Garter Snakes (Thamnophis sirtalis) out and about, here are a few of the ones we saw.

Garter snakes are not usually enough to motivate me to do a post here, so obviously we got something else. That something else was the first Milk Snake (Lampropeltis triangulum) of the year.
